The first step on every journey of self-improvement and self-EMPOWERMENT is to conquer your fears.
The first step as an entrepreneur is to conquer negative influences.
DO NOT PROCEED until you do this first.
This will probably be the hardest thing you ever do in your life -- because the two most influential people in your life, are your parents.
Your parents can either make you or break you.
If they are not making you - influencing you positively, then they are breaking your - influencing you negatively.
The red circle represents your circle of friends, your sphere of influence, your environment.
It is your job to "X" out all the negative influences in your circle of friends.
Notice how the cirlce right next to you has an "!" instead of an "X".
This is the hard part.
This is invariably your husband or wife.
You cannot just "X" them out like you did with your friends or parents.
You must RESOLVE this conflict with your spouse.
If you cannot get your spouse on your side - DO NOT PASS GO - DO NOT COLLECT 200$.
This is important!
If you do a half-baked job, your results will be half-baked, you will only have yourself to blame for the mediocre.
It is important to explain to your spouse that they do not have to go "all-in" with you, they do not have to know the product or business venture down to the very last detail, but you must get BUY-IN.
Your spouse WILL make or break your venture, because they can.
This is the hard part, if you cannot get them on your side ... what do you do?
If you proceed half-baked, you will build resentment against your spouse and or yourself.
Again; don't do it!
Get buy-in, take them carefully by the hand and explain that everything's gonna be all-right.
Otherwise -- get another spouse.
Yep, I said it, there it is.
How much is your life's dream worth?
If your significant other isn't making you, they are breaking you, directly or indirectly.
You are on the path to break the chain of mediocrity, your spouse is ALSO on that path with you, get buy-in or do not proceed.
